For an affordable stay near the station, I'd recommend this place. It's about a ten minute walk away, and although the location seemed just okay, walking there from the station at night didn't bother us. The place was neat and clean, and matched the photos the hosts posted. You share a flat with the owner and other guests, and I think there was another guest room besides ours. The bathroom was shared, but clean and well maintained. The host didn't speak English, so we communicated through Google Translate, which went smoothly. They were humble, soft spoken, and gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast isn't included, and costs 8 euros if you want it. My only suggestion is to ask guests whether they want separate or joined beds. We had two single beds, but as a couple we wanted a double.

My friend and I picked this hotel at random and had such a warm, lovely stay. The rooms were clean and quiet, the AC worked well, and the service and attitude were amazing. Dodo was welcoming and positive, and shared information about town and places to visit. It felt like being at home. Thank you for the excellent service!

The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and the bed was really comfortable. The bathrooms were shared, but they were always clean and pleasant. The building looks rough from outside, though once inside it felt safe and homey. It’s about an eight-minute walk from the station and five minutes from the seafront road. The owner was easy to reach and very responsive. I’d happily recommend it.

Inside, the place is lovely and kept sparkling clean, thanks to the obvious care Dodo and Enzo put into it. The alley and building look a little rough, but the stay was great value and I’d highly recommend it. It’s very close to the train station and even nearer to a large, convenient grocery store. The kitchen isn’t really set up for cooking, though making simple snacks is easy. Dodo and Enzo are warm, kind hosts.
