It wasn't a bad place to stay, though it may be overrated. The room was extremely clean and big enough, and once you get used to the limitations, it's comfortable. Finding it was very difficult, even with Google Maps. It's an apartment unit with only a tiny 6x6 inch sign that's hard to notice. I wandered around for about 20 minutes and called the contact before I found it. It's in a very quiet residential area. On the map it looks near a busy station area, but the main station entrance is on the other side, about a 15 minute walk away. Food and shopping, including proper supermarkets, are about a 10 minute walk. It feels more like an Airbnb, and most of the time there isn't staff on site.

Marco was a friendly host and tried hard to make me comfortable. My room was spacious, clean, bright, and well equipped, and the bathroom was roomy and nice too. There’s a basic shared kitchen where you can make coffee or tea and use the microwave. Breakfast is at the cafe across the street, where you get one snack and one drink. The food is good, and the staff there are very friendly.

Marco, the manager, was kind, quick to reply, and a great help. We were even allowed to use the washing machine. Gia'notte B&B made our few days exploring the coast perfect. The rooms are modern and clean, with AC and an elevator. It's central, about 10 minutes from the central station, with supermarkets and bars just around the corner. Salerno is a great base for visiting the Amalfi coast, and we had a really pleasant stay. We'd recommend it to everyone.

Marco was such a great host, and the room was really comfortable. This was one of my favorite places to stay on my trip around Italy. I’ll definitely stay here again when I’m back in Salerno.

The staff were friendly and the location was good, but the Wi-Fi didn’t work. Soundproofing could be better too, and breakfast was very poor.
