Il Rubino Holiday House

We were unlucky with noisy renovation work outside the apartment. At night there was loud banging and unloading of something, though I couldn't tell what. Inside, the apartment was clean, modern, and had everything we needed, including a kitchen for making pasta. We had no trouble with hot water or water pressure, which can be an issue in old, authentic buildings like this one. Massimo was absolutely great. He helped with everything we needed, including things beyond the apartment, was always online, and communication was easy. The location is ideal, beside the pedestrian promenade and main shopping street, with supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacies, and other essentials close by. It's also convenient for walks around Salerno and for reaching the two ports with ferries to Capri and the Amalfi Coast. The train station for Naples is about a 15-minute walk away.
