Angelo made getting around easy. He suggested places to visit and eat, explained how to catch the ferry, and even cooked us delicious octopus pasta. We felt well looked after, and he was so kind and helpful. The uphill location had worried us, but he collected our luggage at check-in and drove us to the port when we checked out. I’d choose Casa sul mare again on another trip to Salerno. You can reach him on WhatsApp using the number on Google Maps.

What made our stay at Casa sul Mare memorable was the time with Angelo. He showed us around the center, cooked dinner with us a couple of times, and shared great suggestions. He’s warm, attentive, and clearly wants his guests to have a good experience. The location is handy too, with shops, restaurants, a garden, public transport, and the boat dock nearby. We’ll definitely return to Salerno and stay here again.

April 2023 Angelo took such good care of us that the place felt like home. He’s kind, helpful, and a very good cook. His limochello is even better than the kind you can buy commercially. The apartment is recently renovated and very clean, with a lovely view over the sea and port. It’s a 10-minute walk to the city center, and ferries or buses make it easy to reach Napels and the beautiful small cities along the Amalfi coast. We really enjoyed our vacation. From Casa Sul Mare you can look out over the harbour and sea, and it’s a short walk to the beach and the centro-storico. Angelo went out of his way to make our visit a great one. He’s a wonderful host, and I’m happy to recommend the place.

I wasn’t keen on Salerno at first, but this place turned out to be a gem. The view and accommodations are lovely, and Angelo is a perfect host. If you’re considering it, just book it. I’d give it more stars if I could.
