The apartment has been completely rebuilt or renovated recently, and it looked good and was clean. There was also a sauna, along with everything else. Bars and restaurants are close by. The management was new, and the owner's daughter checked everything and paid close attention. I was happy staying here.

The rooms are in a dilapidated building, and the owner provided almost no amenities. Check-in was extremely late, with no apology. At breakfast, there were ants on the kitchen table, and I found expired, spoiled products in the fridge. The sanitary conditions were questionable. Definitely avoid it, there are much better places available. I don't even want to give the owner advice.

Maurizio prepared an excellent lunch for us: bruschetta with octopus in sauce, spaghetti with clams and mussels, baked fish with potatoes, and lemon caprese with limoncello. He made both the dessert and limoncello himself. Afterwards, he took us to the boatswain's suite, and that evening even served dinner in our room. The restaurant was elegant, clean, and welcoming, and the suite had every comfort with the same clean, welcoming feel. I'd highly recommend coming here, even just for a short break or as a gift for friends.

We arrived to find the room wasn't ready, so check-in ran late. Even though we were tired from traveling, we were told to “take a look around in the meantime.” The owner came across as superficial, rude, and disrespectful. The building was run down, the unloading area was in bad shape, and both the doors and air conditioning were malfunctioning. The so-called included breakfast had juices already opened and stale for who knows how long, expired pastries, and ants on the table. It deserved a complaint. I strongly advise anyone thinking of staying at this “hostel” to choose somewhere else. It was the worst money I've ever spent.
