The room was very basic, but the location was perfect for the station and shops. I couldn't get hold of the host beforehand, though she responded while I was there. She also let me check in early, which saved my day. There was an annoying bad smell from the bathroom. I told the host, and she just gave me a thumbs up.

The room was snug, very clean, and in a lovely building in a great location. Having our own fridge was really handy. The walls were thin, so we could hear the water running when the people next door showered. And the basket of a couple of cakes and biscuits wasn't breakfast. There was no kettle either. The coffee machine instructions were only in Italian, so I used Google Translate to work them out, but the machine looked a bit worse for wear and we didn't risk using it. Please put a kettle in the room.

The location was great, but that was about all it had going for it. There was no safe, coffee-making setup, shower soap, or even a water glass. We could only communicate through WhatsApp. Breakfast still wasn’t available, supposedly because of COVID, even though it was May 2023.

The room was very clean, and the place is on a central street. I’d recommend it.
