We felt safe staying here, and the beds were comfortably firm. The sheets and pillows were very clean, which matters to me. Our private bathroom worked well for the three of us, and the TV had Netflix, so we put on a scary movie one night. Our room also had a mini fridge, which was handy, though I can't say whether every room has one. The location made our five-night Spring Break trip to Salerno easy. Two friends and I were studying in Italy for the semester, and we took day trips to different places. Being close to both the train station and port helped a lot with trains and ferries, and the hostel is handy for getting around Salerno too. We were a little confused at first about where the front door was, but liked that it was set apart from the rest of the street. Giulia was attentive and checked whether we needed anything. She was also reachable on WhatsApp. Thanks for having us. If we make it back to Salerno someday, we'd stay again.
