Aromi Piccolo Hotel

Aromi Piccoli Hotel in Salò worked really well for us. It’s close to the restaurants, lakeside, ferry port, museums and galleries, and the staff were helpful with everything we needed. Our room was clean and roomy. Breakfast had lots to choose from and was well served. It’s not a bad g hotel, and in my opinion it’s well run. We’d happily recommend it. Breakfast was delicious every day, and the staff were really nice and attentive. There’s private parking in the garage across the street, plus underground parking, so the car stayed cool while we were away. Highly recommend!!!

Saló is a lovely town and well worth a visit. You can catch a boat here for trips across the lake, and the lakeside is only about a two-minute walk from the apartment, with loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. We stayed in Timo, a nice place we’d come back to. The apartment is one road back from the water and has a kitchen-diner, separate bedroom and bathroom. All the rooms are a good size, and everything looked new in May 2023 and was perfectly clean. There’s a small supermarket nearby, though it’s a bit of a walk. If you’ve hired a car at the airport, there’s a car park opposite the hotel, but it isn’t cheap. Free parking is farther up the road, about a five-minute walk away.

I’ve been back recently and, as always, got the same high level of service. It’s a lovely small family run hotel, and I return whenever I’m in the region. It never disappoints. The home baked pastries are amazingly delicious, too. It’s one of the best hotels in Salo, with 3 star rooms and 4 star facilities, service and location. The rooms are comfortable, and parking is available for £10 per day. The town and Lake are a short walk away. Grazie Mille.
