We really enjoyed our long weekend at the Baccina Inn. It's a lovely base for exploring Rome on your own, and they provide the things that make a stay comfortable, including milk, tea, cakes, and wine. We got a friendly welcome, too. If we come back to Rome, we'd book it again.
I'd definitely recommend this nice apartment if you want to stay around the colloseo area. There are lots of local shops in the neighborhood.
There's plenty of room, and the sofa bed can sleep up to four people. The apartment is well supplied, with a coffee maker and capsules, microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, and iron. It's in a quiet area, very close to the Colosseum.
The apartment was nice, had air conditioning, and sat right in the center, about 200m from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. My issue was the bathroom. The fan sometimes squeaked and creaked, and the shower was the worst part: the frame being patched with "nasa" tape was one thing, but the shower head sprayed everywhere instead of where it should. Shame, because otherwise the stay would've been fine.
The apartment had everything we needed, including a washing machine, hair dryer, and coffee maker, and was fully equipped. It's close to a square with lots of restaurants and bars, as well as the Colosseum and a metro station with connections across Rome. A beautiful place, and I'd happily stay again. Highly recommended.
