Hotel Eden Salò

Breakfast is the best part, excellent with lots of choices and sweet treats. The location is also great for exploring Salo and Lake Garda. The hotel itself was just okay for the price, with some areas a little outdated. The room was small but clean, and on the second day I noticed a sewer smell in the toilet. There was no control for the AC, so we couldn't use it. Luckily it was October, not summer, but we had to sleep with the window open and street noise became a problem. The advertised on-site parking isn't available. Parking is around town in garages that cost extra, or in public parking areas or on the streets, about 200-500 m from the hotel. Parking was what we preferred when choosing a hotel in Salo, so that was a clear disappointment.

The hotel was comfortable, and check-in staff were great. The woman hosting breakfast was especially lovely. It was honestly the best hotel breakfast I've had, with a ridiculous number of cakes on display, and every one I tried was delicious.

We had a comfortable, no-fuss room and the place was very clean. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they worked incredibly hard. Breakfast had lots of good options, and the location was really convenient, only a five-minute walk to the lake. Our room didn't have a view, but we enjoyed how quiet it was. We stayed for five nights in August and definitely recommend it.

We spent a week at Hotel Eden and are just heading home to Ireland. It was a very pleasant stay from beginning to end. Our bedroom was comfortable, checked on every day, and had fresh towels provided. The staff were so nice and friendly, and breakfast was lovely, with lots to choose from each morning. It's a family-run hotel, and they were great about giving us information whenever we asked. The location is very central, with beautiful streets right outside and the lake nearby. We really enjoyed our ferry trips. We'll definitely be back to Salo and stay here again. Thanks for a beautiful week.
