Albergo Elvira

We came for a race and asked if breakfast could start half an hour early. The owners were happy to arrange it, and the whole family running the hotel was VERY HELPFUL. They prepare the sweet breakfast themselves, and if you ask for savory food, they’ll cook it fresh, such as scrambled eggs, cheese, or cold cuts. Our room was spacious and clean, with everything we needed, a VERY COMFORTABLE bed, and AIR CONDITIONING for summer. We ate at the owners’ restaurant two nights, and the prices were fair for the quality. The local cold cuts, cheeses, and pasta were excellent. The handmade spinach and cheese tortelli with butter were AMAZING, and the handmade tagliatelle with ragù were delicious too. EXCELLENT TO SAY THE LEAST. I recommend it to everyone, especially if you want to visit the spa across the street. We’ll be back.

The price was great for what we got, and the rooms were clean. Everyone on staff was friendly and ready to help, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I had a really good stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended if you want a good hotel without spending too much.

We spent 12 days here and everything was just right, from the kind service and cleanliness to the food. Many thanks again. Sent Parisini Cavalleri Sent

We came to Salsomaggiore for the National Chess Championships and were sad when our vacation ended. Hotel Elvira is a lovely family-run place, clean and very welcoming to children. It faces a large park with a playground, and its garden is full of beautiful flowers. Salsomaggiore is only a few minutes away by car. Everyone on staff was courteous, professional, and attentive. We felt like guests, not just customers. I almost forgot to mention the home-cooked food, which was super delicious and plentiful. It’s an ideal spot for a relaxing vacation, and we highly recommend it. We can’t wait to return. See you soon!! Eleonora, Leo, & Alessandro!!
