B&B La Lucciola gave me the stay I was hoping for, and I really enjoyed it. The forest view was the highlight, with nature all around and a real sense of calm. Inside, the apartment was well kept, had safety features, and showed care in the details. The owner gave us a warm welcome and came across as a real hospitality professional. It's also just a few steps from the town center, with good services nearby. Salsomaggiore Terme has its well-known wellness and health offerings, plus some fascinating historical and cultural places around Emilia Romagna. I'd recommend it to tourists and local workers alike, whether you're after a romantic weekend or hoping to explore the area and its outdoor activities.

I spent a week here in October, and wouldn't recommend it. The apartment was very damp, and although it's near the center, the uphill walk isn't an easy one. The owner said the WiFi was out because of roadworks, so I can't confirm whether it's normally available. If you do stay, bring your own dishes, kitchen paper, and towels. Some were provided, but not enough for two people for a week, and when I asked for more, they came very slowly.

The best part was having breakfast on the balcony, with trees all around us. We spent a week in this roomy, welcoming apartment at the edge of the forest. The owner was kind and attentive, and did everything she could to meet our needs.

Stay away from this house. I booked the whole month of July, bought the tickets, and then they cancelled everything just a week before. I suspect they rented it to someone else for more money. When I asked for an explanation and mentioned the tickets I'd already booked, the response was that it wasn't their problem. Completely dishonest.
