The hosts were really friendly and always ready to help. We did have ants in the room, and it rained one night, but they took care of that the following day.

The noise was the biggest problem for us. After 7 a.m., sleeping was impossible, and we could even hear other residents using the toilet. The hotel next door looks onto the balcony from its kitchen and dining room, and noise from the kitchens carried over and was very disruptive. The apartment might work for one or two nights, but I wouldn't stay longer. I'm truly sorry, but I won't vacation here again. The kitchen is also far too small and poorly equipped: no window, no oven or kettle, and a tiny refrigerator. There's no window in the bathroom either.
The balcony was pleasant, but the neighboring hotel's kitchen and dining room look straight onto it, so it felt like guests were constantly watching us. Noise from that kitchen was also very loud in the mornings and evenings. The building is poorly soundproofed, and after 7 p.m. I couldn't sleep. Inside the Enzian apartment, neither the kitchen nor the bathroom has a window. The kitchen has only a two-burner gas hob, no oven or kettle, and a refrigerator that's far too small. It might be fine for a night or two, but not for a longer stay. I was disappointed. I'd still vacation there, just not in this apartment again.
The lovely terrace and garden couldn't make up for the overall impression, and we won't return to Untersaltaushof. We had expected a much nicer holiday. The Fleischmann family didn't show much of the friendliness they're known for: family members passed us without a greeting or a word. Basic things were missing from the kitchen, including all but two coffee cups, with very few saucers and plates as well. The refrigerator wasn't working when we arrived, putting our food at risk, and it smelled of rancid butter. The TV remote didn't work either. The bathroom was just as sparse, with nowhere to hang towels, so damp ones couldn't dry. After a few days, the apartment smelled musty, as if it wasn't aired often. I can't recommend the "Apfelblüte" apartment.
The campsite shop has the basics you need for breakfast, and its restaurant is excellent and always busy. We also liked having parking right in front of the house. Our apartment was clean and in good condition. There were a few minor issues, but overall we had a great stay.
