Five of us went for dinner and the evening was a mess. They kept asking for our order after we’d given it, got all the orders wrong, and waiters knocked over glasses. They were talking about fresh fish while crates of frozen fish were coming in. When we asked for separate bills, the host refused, and after such a disastrous night they didn’t even take off half a euro as an apology. Seems fine for German tourists who want to get screwed. Absolutely not recommended. I can’t comment on the rooms since we didn’t stay there.

The food was excellent, especially the paccheri with scorpion fish and the fried fish, which I highly recommend. The place is just steps from the sea, and we had a wonderful stay that felt like being with family. Fiorella is a genius at sorting out any problem, and her husband is kind, lovely, and always available. She goes beyond what you’d expect from the service.

This place is lovely and has a lot of potential, though I don’t think it’s being fully realized. I’d call it a guesthouse rather than a B&B. The rooms are just adequate in size, the bathroom was tidy and recently renovated, and the private back terrace is great for having lunch or dinner. The air conditioning, which is essential, and the minibars in the rooms were appreciated. Water supply came and went, though that seems to be a problem affecting the whole area and beyond the owners’ control. Cleaning was infrequent and a bit haphazard, and there was no soap in the bathroom. There’s very little staff around because the family also runs the trattoria downstairs. Breakfast is served at a bar a few dozen meters away.
