The B&B is beautiful and spotlessly clean, with really comfortable beds and pillows. It's in a quiet area, but a supermarket, pharmacy, and plenty of restaurants are within walking distance. Salve is a 10-minute drive from Pescoluse, where the sea is enchanting. Michela and Raffaele made us feel at home, and their advice on local sights and places to eat was invaluable. Michela treated us to breakfasts full of homemade cakes and pastries, while Raffaele shared stories about Salento and helpful recommendations. If we come back to Puglia, as I hope we will, we'll definitely return to B&B La Lanterna. Anna and Marco

The care Raffaele and his wife put into this place really shows, and we came away grateful for such a wonderful holiday. Friends who'd stayed here recommended it as a base for exploring Salento. Our family of two adults and two children, aged 3 and 6, stayed from August 26th to September 2nd, 2017, in Room Vespro 2. It's maintained down to the smallest detail, with a level of cleanliness you rarely find in hotels. Sheets are changed every 2 days, and towels daily if needed. The large family room has a big bathroom, a huge shower where there were three of us, a professional hairdryer, spacious wardrobes and drawers, and a private entrance onto a path to the breakfast area. A separate washing machine is available, along with a basement kitchen area with a shared fridge and TV. Everything is new, elegant, and thoughtfully arranged. Raffaele and his wife welcomed us warmly and made us feel at ease with their courtesy and helpfulness. Breakfast was sumptuous, with homemade pastries and jams. My wife and daughter are celiacs, so they prepared a special homemade dessert for us every morning. They also gave us lots of useful ideas about places to see and wonderful restaurants and little spots to eat. I'm not usually so free with compliments, but their care and good taste deserve real thanks. I'd absolutely recommend them to anyone visiting Salento. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
