Antica Masseria Ficazzana

Our son loved spending time with the two sweet donkeys, Pippi and Martina, out in the fields behind the masseria. The place is surrounded by nature, but also close to the sea and the area’s prettiest villages. It’s spacious and well maintained, with a calm atmosphere that works for families with children or anyone wanting a peaceful break. We spent a week there in August, a few kilometers from the crystal-clear sea at Pescoluse and well placed for trips to Santa Maria di Leuca and other towns in Salento. Mrs. Lorena, the owner, was kind, welcoming, and helpful, and made us feel at home. Each morning there was a generous, authentic breakfast with fresh products and thoughtful details. We’ll always treasure this stay and recommend it to anyone who wants to see the authentic side of Salento.

We had a wonderful three-night stay at this beautiful, well-kept masseria, surrounded by greenery and only a short drive from the beaches. We brought our dog. There’s no pool, but we still had a great time. Mrs. Lorena was very kind and ready to answer any questions, and breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with traditional products. I highly recommend it.

A lovely, peaceful escape. The hostess was friendly, kind, and very helpful, and shared some valuable tips with us. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

Breakfast outside was a lovely way to start the day, with homemade jams and delicious desserts. Mrs. Lorena was always smiling and happy to suggest ways to make the most of the holiday. The masseria is beautiful, and you can sense its history in every stone.
