The location made it easy to get around: the hotel is a few minutes from the main bus stop in Cogolo, and we used it to reach all the main ski areas, not just Pejo. Our room was clean and looked out over the forest, with peaks in the distance. There’s a ski room with heated boot racks. We spent most of our time skiing and our evenings indoors, so I’m not sure how much there is to do nearby. The hotel has a sauna and a relaxation room that fits about six people, plus games rooms for younger and older kids. They’re nothing fancy, but they’re there. There’s also a bar and tables where you can play cards or board games with friends. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. Some of our group went on a short snowshoe hike with the owner one afternoon and enjoyed it. Breakfast was plentiful for us, though a new dish each morning would’ve added some variety. Dinner could’ve been more imaginative, maybe the group menu was the reason, but the food was tasty and perfectly fine while resting between ski days.

Room 211 was great, with enough space for my things and even for asana practice. The staff were friendly, and a brunette with straight hair, tall boots, and a jacket really stood out. She was professional, smiled, and spoke English. The food was usually poor, only nice a few times, and cheese seemed to take over everything. Be warned about the tap water, it causes chronic food poisoning. I’d come back if the food improved and the plant in the common area wasn’t left to die. Thanks for a great experience.

The receptionist was especially helpful whenever I needed something or had a problem. The owner was a nice Italian guy overall, though he could have been a bit more attentive. The hotel is ideally located for Pejo, while other slopes are a bit farther away but still manageable. There’s a supermarket nearby if you need anything, just remember it closes for an afternoon siesta. The food was better than I expected, and it’s a very nice hotel. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Italy.

The rooms were nice and the staff warm and friendly. Gabriela, who served us in the restaurant, worked incredibly hard and made sure we had a good experience. I highly recommend staying here!
