Hotel Domina Parco dello Stelvio

The room had a very nice view, but the hotel’s atmosphere felt rotten to me, and it seemed to be falling apart from within, especially because of the staff. I felt ripped off. Staff were rude and seemed to treat people differently based on nationality. Food was mediocre at best, with small portions and a long, unfriendly restaurant experience. Some dishes felt like the worst parts of fine dining, and have you ever seen a white-colored steak? You can here. Want a romantic dip in the pool? You’ll need a swim cap. There’s a staff member watching to see if it slips off, and she’ll call you out for that or anything else. In my opinion, this place doesn’t deserve four stars.

The rooms have plenty of space: ours had a large bedroom with a regular comfortable bed, a stylish bathroom, and a living room with a pullout couch. The view is amazing, though you should expect to walk uphill a bit to reach the final destination. We stayed through RCI for our honeymoon. It’s a good quality resort and less expensive than some fancier options. Breakfast brunch was delicious and affordable at 8 Euro per person. The other meals cost around 20-25 Euro each and may not feel like the best value unless you want to splurge. All meals are offered. Some staff spoke English, but be ready to ask plenty of questions to get the information you need. Pool and sauna access costs extra, so the included amenities are fairly basic. I’d recommend it.

The owners were very kind, and the hotel has a lovely view and amazing food. I stayed one night and found the pool and sauna really relaxing. A nice place for anyone needing a break from routine and wanting time in nature. I’d recommend it.

2024: Nothing has changed. The food is still great, the atmosphere is nice, and the people are helpful :-)z From 2022/2023: The hotel is well located and the staff are very kind. The ski bus leaves from outside, or you can walk three minutes down the hill. Dinners are large, with lots of tasty choices, including vegetarian food. Breakfast is fine for meat eaters, but could have more variety for everyone else. There’s a nice pizza place and bar 100 m away.
