Carla was in touch before we arrived to sort out parking information, dinner reservations, and transfers. The service and accommodations at Conche Luxury Resort were unmatched, and the room was spectacular, unique, and had every amenity we could have imagined. Breakfast felt like something from Top Chef. Matera turned out to be an unexpected jewel, and this stay was a big part of that. If your trip brings you to Matera, and it should, stay here. You’ll be delighted. 10000000/10.

The staff kept checking in to see whether we were enjoying ourselves or needed anything, and they were a huge help with sightseeing in Matera. They suggested great restaurants and made reservations when we needed them. Tiziana deserves a special mention for helping when we left something behind in our room. She went so far beyond what you’d expect, she was a lifesaver. The rooms were exquisite, the location was perfect, and breakfast was superb. I can’t say enough about the care and service here.

The room felt modern while still letting us appreciate the unusual structure of the dwellings, and the hotel is in a good location. Victor was helpful from the moment we arrived, showing us around the sights and sharing the history of Sassi di Matera. The service made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was lovely. Thanks for a great stay :)

We only stayed one night, in a renovated cave room with museum-like lighting. The staff were very friendly, offered recommendations, and served a breakfast full of surprises.

They gave us a city map and explained the main things to do, and the location is quite central. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, and breakfast was OK. We were happy with our stay and can recommend the place.
