Hotel Europa

This historic hotel in Pejo has been operating for over 53 years and still has its old-fashioned charm. The owners are very kind and helpful, and the friendly staff keep everything clean and tidy. It’s a good place if you don’t expect extras like a spa or sauna. If you need those things, the spa is great. Greetings to everyone, and see you soon. Thank you very much.

I had a very negative ski holiday here in January 2025. The services didn’t feel up to three-star standard, and the hotel needs a complete renovation. The room was old and cold, with dated windows and radiators that seemed to be off more often than on. The old beds were uncomfortable and had no blankets, and the bathroom was dated too. Breakfast was very poor, and both the breakfast and dinner buffets were ridiculous. There was an unbearable musty smell in the bar area.

The views are beautiful, and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was good, and the food was good quality, but the shower dripped at night even when turned off. Wi-Fi was very poor. There’s no warm place for ski gear, the boot racks were often too small, and our skis ended up wet. The slopes are 300 meters away. That sounds close, but hauling all your equipment over there after a long hike can be tiring. I’m not sure whether I’d recommend the hotel.

The hotel was clean and offered good value for money. I stayed in January 2023 and had a great time. The owner and staff were very kind, the food was good with generous portions, and the spa and an excellent pastry shop were very close by.
