The room made a great first impression when we arrived, and the property itself is lovely. But during our three-day stay there was no welcome from the owner or anyone else, even in the days after we arrived. The mattresses were so thin and uncomfortable that we could feel the metal springs, and the room wasn't cleaned or tidied at all. Our towels weren't changed, and the tiny bathroom bin wasn't emptied because there were no replacement bags. We found just two bottles of water for the whole three days, with no way to buy more. We had asked about payment, but ended up paying out on the street rather than at the property. There wasn't even a thank you or a smile. For the medium-high price, especially compared with similarly priced places nearby, I expected more attention and care for guests. It's a shame, because the property is very nice, but the management and hospitality need a complete overhaul.

We only got about three hours of use from the tub, and the water never got properly hot. We ended up going to bed with wet hair because the power had gone out and we couldn't use a hair dryer. It didn't come back until late at night. At first the hot water stopped after we'd been using the tub for half an hour. The owners came quickly when we called and tried to fix it. A couple of hours later, it turned out some valves we'd left open were the cause, though nobody had explained how to use the tub. After waiting four hours, we could finally use it, but the water was lukewarm. A couple of hours after that, the electricity went off. We told the owners right away, but they didn't respond until the next day and blamed the rain, even though it wasn't raining then. Maybe we were just unlucky, but we definitely won't come back.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return. The B&B is clean and welcoming, with a high standard throughout, and it's right in the center, handy for visiting local attractions. The people running it are real professionals and attentive to every detail. Parking on the street in front of the entrance was easy, free, and always available.

The town has a lot of charm and is well worth a visit. The place is centrally located, with convenient parking, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
