B&B Patrizio

We thought both families would be staying here, but another group was there too, and we had to share the kitchen. If I'd known that from the start, I wouldn't have booked. They were a group of young men, and the walls were thin, so their laughter carried late into the night. The kitchen was dirty and they played music loudly. We planned to stay three days, but left after one and looked for somewhere else. The room was dusty, so I mopped it myself. The dishwasher was broken, the washing machine couldn't be used, and the place was awful. A classic case of getting what you pay for. I expected a little better.

The room on the second floor was nice, but there's no elevator. There was nothing for breakfast apart from coffee or tea, and nobody cleaned the room during the three days. The TV didn't work, the air conditioning was old, and the window wouldn't close properly. It took 15 minutes for hot water to come through.

The ground-floor rooms are right beside a very busy road, so I wouldn't recommend them to light sleepers. Apart from that, everything was fine.

The location is very central, with paid parking right next to the property. We booked through Booking.com, which listed cribs as available, but there weren't any. With a newborn and a very young child, a bunk bed or loft bed didn't work for us, so we made do for the night. The room looked nice, but a musty, sewer-like smell lingered throughout our stay, probably coming from the bathroom. Cleanliness needs work. I was glad to have a kettle and herbal tea and chamomile bags, but there was no trash can in the room or bathroom. The inside of the shower door had mold, and the bathroom had large, already-used bottles of shower gel and hand soap. Breakfast was a €3 voucher for a nearby café.
