We were sorry we couldn't take the famous elevator ride. The owner was very kind and helpful, and even made breakfast for us early because we had to check out very early. The property is right in the center of San Benedetto, and it's a convenient 10-minute walk to the beach. The place feels quite homey, though cleanliness could be better.

Domenico was fantastic, so kind and hospitable, and the location and room were excellent. We only stayed two nights, but would have stayed much longer if he hadn't had other bookings. We're still on the drive home and already wanted to write this review. Many thanks to Domenico and little Luna for everything!

The breakfast room smelled of dog, the croissant wasn't what we'd agreed on the night before, and the honey had expired over 12 months ago. The glasses were filthy and the sugar packets had gone hard. The host wouldn't give us proper privacy at breakfast and pushed racist conversations. After all, the newsstand downstairs prominently displays a Mussolini calendar. A terrifying experience. Inappropriate "erotic" paintings, a dirty duvet, and the toilet looked as if it hadn't been flushed in perhaps a month.

The rooftop terrace is lovely and makes a great spot for breakfast. The location is excellent, right in the center of San Benedetto, and the place has a quaint feel. The rooms are a bit small but nice. Cleanliness could be better throughout the house.

Domenico is a cheerful, welcoming, and friendly host, and little Luna is friendly too 🐕🙂. The place is well located for getting to the center and the station. Cleanliness could use a bit of improvement.
