Residence Mediterraneo

The management was courteous and helpful, and the covered parking was ample. Our son loved spending hours in the lovely pool. We stayed from June 11th to 24th in a clean, roomy two-story apartment with everything we needed and a little sea view each day. The French windows let in plenty of air. The beach and beautiful seafront promenade are only steps away, and the price was great for what we got. We'll be back!

The place was far below what I expected. The furniture and appliances were worn out, unlike the pictures, and the staff entered the apartment while we were out to fix the jammed washing machine. Our apartment had two floors and a steep staircase, with the only shower downstairs in a bathroom with a chemical toilet. It always seemed dirty. The dining area was so dim we kept the light on even in broad daylight. I wouldn't consider it suitable for older people, and it seemed dangerous for small children. The terrace table was too bulky, especially with a drying rack there too. Parking costs money throughout the area, and the only nearby convenience store was poorly stocked.

The beach is only a few meters away, which was the one good thing. Everything else was disappointing for the price. The apartment could have been nice, but it was very poorly maintained, and the staff weren't friendly. The sofa and beds were extremely uncomfortable; the pillows were dirty, and the bathrooms smelled unbearably of urine. There were just four pots and pans, all too dirty to cook with. The dishwasher and washing machine smelled and were moldy. The cleanliness was unacceptable.

Those big terraces made it easy to eat outside in peace, and the sea is only a short walk away. It's a great place to unwind, with or without kids. The furniture could do with an update, but we'd definitely come back as soon as we can.
