Sunrise

One of the nicest spots right on the beach.

Even after a few years, I still remember that hotel fondly. It sits right by the sea, the staff were so kind, and the whole place felt just right. A little pearl on the Riviera delle Palme.

The staff were warm and helpful throughout our two-week stay between June and July 2025, including the owners Emilio and Ilaria. The residence is also handy for everyday needs: there's a well-stocked supermarket 100 meters away, a newsstand close by, and enclosed parking 300 meters from the building. We paid a fair price for lunch, with simple, nicely prepared daily choices including fish and other seafood, meat, and vegetables. Orders placed by 11:30 a.m. arrived on trays at the time we asked, so we could eat wherever we liked. The bar charged separately, like an outdoor bar. We were in a second-floor, two-room apartment with a bathroom and a large sea-facing balcony. It would benefit from shade curtains, especially since the bedrooms get sun from dawn until almost noon. The kitchenette was convenient and sufficiently equipped, with an induction hob and microwave, plus a fridge with a freezer compartment. A few larger cups for tea or herbal tea would have been useful. There was plenty of closet space and two TVs with international channels. We had asked for a bed topper when booking, and the bed was comfortable enough even for those of us with back problems. The bathroom was well arranged, with a handy towel rack and an attached comfortable seat. The apartment was ready early, very clean, and came with cleaning supplies, fresh dish and bathroom detergents, and a bottle of shower gel. Bed linen and towels were included and changed weekly. Our price also covered two sun loungers and an umbrella, set a reasonable distance apart, with showers and bathrooms nearby. There's a large covered area with tables. One thing that surprised us: non-residents can use the beach too and get the umbrellas nearest the sea. Since we'd booked well in advance, we thought we might be able to choose our spot. I had stayed here for a few days years ago, back when it was a hotel. The building has since been renovated and converted into a residence. The owners and staff made us feel welcome, and I highly recommend it.

That little playground across from the hotel is handy when you're here with children, and the apartments are clean, modern, and look out over the sea. Residence Sunrise is right on the beach, with friendly staff who are always willing to help. We just finished our week there, our second year in a row, and we're already planning to return next year.
