They've clearly put thought into making hikers feel welcome. We enjoyed our stay, and there were vegan choices at dinner, including mushroom gnocchi and two tomato dishes. The gnocchi was tasty.

The rooms were fine, clean, and had a pretty new bathroom, and the price for what you get is very good. The restaurant is what makes the place special: homemade tortellini and pasta were amazing, and the service was both quick and great. It's nothing fancy, just everything you'd hope for in a good Italian restaurant. If you're walking the Via degli Dei, have a plate or two and you'll sleep like a baby. Thanks again!

We were greeted so warmly, and the room came with plenty of towels and heaters, even a shoe warmer. I only wish there were more of those! Breakfast was great for setting off on the journey. The pizza was delicious. The mushroom tortellini was a little bland and only lukewarm, but that didn't spoil the experience.

The room was spotlessly clean and had a balcony, and the double set of doors helped keep things quiet. There's even a glass elevator for when you're done with stairs. Breakfast was incredibly generous, with lots of nondairy choices, and dinner was delicious from the same place, with an extensive menu that includes wood-fired pizza. The owners went out of their way to help. They had needles for blisters and were happy to make food outside regular restaurant hours.
