Hotel Musolesi

I was relieved when morning came and I could check out. The staff were unfriendly and seemed incompetent, the bed smelled of sweat and had someone else's hair on it, and the bathroom light was broken, so showering in the dark was unpleasant. There was noise outside for much of the night. Breakfast didn't come close to what I'd expect from a three-star hotel. I've had much better service at places with lower ratings. I don't know how they got those three stars. As a long-term traveller, I can honestly only advise avoiding this hotel. There are definitely better places to stay.

I stayed here for one night while doing the Via degli Dei and only realized a couple of days later that I'd left some clothes in the room. They never contacted me to say anything, which was really frustrating. They also don't speak any English, so trying to communicate is painful.

It was the changeover between winter and spring, and the hotel was completely empty, but everything still worked as it should. The staff were helpful and great, and the sweet breakfast and coffee were fresh and nice. Respect.

The hotel is basic, but the setting is so pretty. The owner is a really lovely, welcoming man. I love this place and highly recommend it!
