The ladies who run the place were very friendly. They even got our breakfast ready at 7 a.m., although it normally starts at 8. Our double room was extremely clean, the mattresses were very comfortable, and the bathroom looked practically brand new. The accommodation is right by the pedestrian area with its shops and restaurants, and the town makes a great starting point for hikes. Good value for money, and we felt comfortable. We’d gladly return.

We were lucky to rent two rooms here. The renovation is impeccable, right down to the smallest details, and the beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast was perfect before a day of cycling. There’s private parking in this central location, plus great storage for bikes and skis. The very kind owner also suggested the San Candido-Brunico cycle path and a restaurant. The route is a little harder and less famous than the downhill-only San Candido-Lienz one, but truly more beautiful. Definitely worth a stop.

The hotel is a bit dated, but clean and practically in the center of San Candido, with parking available. Breakfast wasn’t very varied, though there was plenty of good food. The staff were friendly, and the price was very reasonable. We stayed just one night and had a great time. If we return to Alta Pusteria, we’ll consider staying here again.
