The hotel's chef clearly puts a lot of care into the food. Each meal was excellent and took us on a culinary journey through the week. The staff were delightful and professional, and made us feel very welcome. When I was hit on the slopes on New Year's Day and spent the night in hospital in San Candido, the hotel staff kindly arranged a pickup back to the hotel. That was an amazing help. We booked a week of skiing through Crystal Ski as a family of four, with kids aged 12 and 16. Parkhotel Sole Paradiso has traditional Italian charm and sits beside a pretty river on the way out of San Candido. It's within walking distance of town and the ski slopes, and there's a free ski bus and train service to other areas. We took the train to Kronplatz for a day of skiing. I'd never written a Google review for a holiday stay before, but our week here was so lovely that I had to. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

The family feel of the hotel made it feel like staying in a lovely big home, and all the staff were so friendly. I travelled on my own, and they made me feel welcome and looked after. I'm gluten free, and the team thoughtfully alternated dishes so I could enjoy really delicious food. The quality, detail and flavours were incredible, even compared with some very nice restaurants I've eaten at. There's a great pool, sauna and relaxation rooms. The location is handy for walking five minutes into San candido or taking the regular bus to town or the ski slopes. I'd highly recommend it and hope you have as lovely a stay as I did.

The food was incredible, and the staff were all lovely and attentive. It's a beautiful family-run hotel, with spacious rooms and a great spa. The ski bus stops right outside, and the town is just a short walk away. 🫶

This is a nice old hotel with updated decor, a great lobby and big, pleasant rooms. Room 117 was great, though the view of the room from the other balconies isn't ideal ;) For a four-star hotel, I thought the restaurant could be better. Unfortunately, our group also had a bad experience with an attempted burglary in the hotel parking lot.

The kids had plenty to enjoy, from the well-equipped playroom and outdoor play area to the good-sized indoor pool. The cable cars nearby also lead to great play areas at the top, and a footpath gets you into town and to the nearest cable car in about a 10-minute walk, despite the hotel feeling out in the countryside. We were a family of seven in two rooms and an apartment, which worked really well with young children. The staff were lovely and very helpful, and breakfast was good. We had a great week here in August 2025 and would definitely recommend it.
