The restaurant has a cozy Tuscan feel, and the local food was delicious. We really liked the cola and olive oil, and bought plenty to take home. We also took a cooking class, which I highly recommend. Maria, the owner, has a great personality and is clearly proud of her family and work. She and her staff put so much care and effort into looking after our group of nine. We were late because of delays, but receptionist Roberta stayed late to welcome us, which made a wonderful first impression. The clean, spacious rooms helped me sleep like a baby, and the countryside is beautiful. The drive there wasn’t difficult. Thank you so much for all the memories. Grazie! Judia.

The facilities are fairly simple, so that’s why I’m giving it four stars. The restaurant food, though, was great, among the best I’ve eaten in Italy or anywhere else. The head waiter was brilliant at explaining the choices. We stayed four nights in June in a spacious, simple apartment. It’s a quiet location, though busier at weekends than during the week. We spent most days exploring Tuscany and ate at the hotel restaurant in the evenings. You really need a car to stay here.

The scenery is awe inspiring, and I’d really recommend getting up early to watch the sunrise. The food is phenomenal, the wine exquisite, and the staff are so friendly they make you feel like family. Rooms are large, warm, and rustic, though a little dated. This is the most amazing place in Italy. I’ll definitely be back 😍

Finding doctors and translating for us when our little toddler got sick was an extra kindness from the team. Maria Giulia and everyone else made sure we felt welcome and cared for throughout our stay. This is a real gem in the Tuscan landscape. The place is lovely, the food and wine were fantastic, and it was a joy to talk wine with Maria Giulia. We’d love to return and recommend staying here.
