B&B San Cataldo

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The building is an old apartment block, and parking is cramped and inconvenient. In my room, the walls were very dirty and unhygienic, the sink was loose and out of place, and the shower leaked all over. There was no breakfast in the morning.

It’s a cozy place in a handy spot for getting around the city center. The room had three beds, a wardrobe, mini-fridge, microwave, desk, and bedside lamps, plus an en suite bathroom. The balcony also has a drying rack. The beds were a mixed bag: the double beds felt like sleeping on springs, and the single bed was too hard.

We’ll be back as soon as we can. The rooms were clean, and it was handy to have a coffee machine and water in the room. Breakfast was at a nearby bar, and we had reserved parking. The owner was courteous and very kind. We stayed for a performance by the Duo delle Meraviglie at the Acireale fair, and highly recommend the place. Many thanks to the family, and thanks from Lo Monaco & Siligato.

Breakfast is served at a bar just a few meters away, and the price is very affordable. The owner is kind and helpful. This welcoming B&B has an en suite bathroom and is very clean, with comforts like a fridge and coffee maker.
