Tempio Aurora

We had a terrible experience. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, but the owner was unreachable. She said breakfast would be ready at 8:00 AM, yet nobody arrived. What was there was bagged croissants without expiration dates, plus bottles of water and juice that had already been opened. The fridge also had sliced cakes that were already there the night before we arrived. Our group of friends had booked all the rooms, so it was hard to understand who had opened the bottles and cut the cakes.

Our guests had travelled for hours from out of the region, including a couple with a newborn who was just a month and a half old. They only needed a room to change in before the morning baptism, since check-in was at 2:00 PM. Although the request for a backup room was accepted, it was handled rudely and reluctantly. When they arrived, nobody was there to greet them or explain where to go. They saw clean rooms with keys attached, assumed those were theirs, and brought in their luggage. The owner then came in, insulted them, and ordered them out without hearing an explanation. She even called me at church and yelled, despite my explaining that I was celebrating my daughter's baptism. Our guests, including the newborn and his parents, were exhausted and couldn't change. They had to wait outside in 38-degree sun. In the end, they were given the same rooms that had initially been refused. The next morning, breakfast hadn't been prepared either, so guests had no alternative. We were deeply embarrassed and disappointed by the whole episode, especially in a small town where hospitality should matter. Tempio Aurora was a disastrous choice for us. The rudeness, disorganization, and lack of attention to guests make it absolutely not recommended.

The location is excellent, and the rooms are clean and modern. Service from the host fell short, though. Other guests were staying at the property, and we found the kitchen dirty with full trash cans. Having a manager on site would be essential for safety and to prevent unpleasant surprises.

It's a lovely, well-kept property in a quiet, convenient spot. The owners could have paid more attention, and breakfast was quite disappointing. A little more care would have made the stay truly perfect.
