Good location and very good staff, but the air conditioning had a lot of problems and there was no heater. This isn’t even close to one star, though the name suggests four. Very bad.

Getting here was easy, and the place sits in a cool, beautiful, fragrant grove just a short walk from the seafront. It was my first stay. My room was spacious and welcoming, and the double could probably fit four with its sofa bed. The bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom’s large tub worked fine as a shower, though its edge was a little high to step over. Breakfast was complete, with good croissants and coffee. The receptionist was helpful and kind, gave directions quickly and clearly, and even found me a dinner spot before I had time to worry about where to eat. Their restaurant, Carullo's, is on the seafront. I had the full menu: appetizers, cured meats and cheeses, gnocchi alla sorrentina, water, and a glass of wine. It was superb.
