Luca pointed us to Il Sogno, about a 10-minute walk away, where we had excellent pizza and pasta, though the menu was limited. He was a very friendly host, and the apartment was new and clean. For our family of four, staying two nights at the end of July 2018, it was convenient, and Como is about a 15-minute drive away. The small building is three stories tall in a quiet, new neighborhood. There are three parking spaces, plus places available in the evening after the shops close. We had a one-bedroom place on the second floor, with no elevator. The living room was small, with a TV and sofa, and there was a table with four chairs. The bathroom was lovely and came with towels, soap and shower gel. There was also a teapot with chamomile tea and a bottle of water. A few things could be better. There was no decoration or towel rack, and all four beds were in the same room: one large bed, a single above it and another single beside it. There was no air conditioning, and it was 28°C in the apartment in the middle of the night. No shutters or blackout curtains made it hard to keep the sun out, and the door lock was difficult to open and close. Breakfast isn't served in the building. You cross the street to a really nice cafe, where Luca gave us a voucher per person for one coffee and a brioche of our choice. Tea or orange juice cost extra, and the voucher was worth €2.50. Also, watch for the €40 cleaning charge per stay. I didn't notice it when booking, even for just two nights. They're still getting started, so there's room to improve, but it worked for a family.
