Casa Dei Potenti

We had a lovely side view of the Duomo, and the room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The bathroom is a little small, but still fine. Great location and very nice rooms. I'd happily stay here again on my next trip, and would recommend it!

Caterina was friendly and helpful, and it was a quiet, peaceful place. The old town house has small rooms, though, and our bathroom was tiny, so larger people should keep that in mind. Breakfast is available at a discount from the cafe next door. It was the usual sort, but good. The location is great. The WiFi wasn't very good, which mattered to us.

The host was very attentive, and the place is very central. The parking lot inside the city walls is convenient, though getting there means going up and down stairs and through narrow alleys. For breakfast, I'd suggest the bar across the square, with great coffee and croissants. My complaint is about the room: we booked for three, but got a smaller room meant for two with an extra futon. I saw bigger rooms being used by just two people, so I felt our room assignment was unfair.

We waited 40 minutes for someone to arrive, and another couple had to wait an hour. The location is excellent and the room was very good, but the service was terrible.
