My wife and I came for lunch, but she wasn’t feeling well, so I was the only one ordering a main dish. The waiter showed no understanding and rudely told us we had to leave because they “don’t serve just one dish for two people.” We were happy to leave after being treated so badly.

The setting is nice, but the price makes it hard to justify. A plain espresso cost 3.50, which says a lot. We waited two hours for the tagliata. It arrived cold on the outside and even colder inside. It wasn’t grilled, just plainly cooked, and though it wasn’t tough, it had no taste.

We had dinner here and really enjoyed it. The restaurant feels warm and inviting, and both the food and drinks were incredible. The staff were so kind and helpful. I’d definitely recommend eating here if you’re visiting the San Gimignano area.

The food was incredible, and the service couldn’t have been friendlier. The atmosphere was spot on too. I don’t understand why this restaurant has only 4.4 stars.

Thomas at our hotel Leon Bianca suggested we eat here, and it turned out to be a great tip. The owner was so lovely that we came back the following night. We really enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.
