Breakfast was great, and the owners and staff were such lovely, helpful people. The place is a beautiful mansion up on a hill, with thoughtful design throughout, from the gardens to the rooms. There’s a terrace with hot tubs where you can sip their own wine and look out over the view. We had an amazing stay and definitely recommend it.

We felt completely relaxed here, and the food was lovely. The rooms were top notch, the views were stunning, and the owners made us feel so welcome. My husband uses a wheelchair, and everything was very accessible. This was our favorite place of the whole Italy trip. I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed five nights at Podere La Quercia and found it a great base for seeing Tuscany. San Gimignano and Certaldo are both about a 10-minute drive away, and the house sits among vineyards with a breathtaking view. Our room fit four comfortably, had a modern bathroom, and was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was just right, especially the fresh homemade cakes each day. The kids enjoyed playing in the garden, and the owners were wonderfully hospitable, always serving with a smile. Thanks, Francesca & family. A prossimo!

The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, and they also arranged a cooking class, e-bike rentals, and flexible pickup and drop-off for us. We felt so thoughtfully looked after. Staying in that lovely house among the vineyards felt like a dream, and it’s the most beautiful, memorable place I’ve ever stayed.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with local fruit, delicious homemade cakes and pastries, excellent local cold cuts, great coffee, and proper bread. The views across La Toscana were stunning, hard to put into words. We loved every minute here. Keep it up, and I hope we can come back soon!
