Finding somewhere this close to perfect makes you want to keep it a secret. But the host deserves the praise for all his hard work and kindness. This is Italy as it should be.

We came across this place unexpectedly. The accommodation is right by the water, there's parking for the car, and the host was perfect.

The best place in town. Come see for yourself.

We had to book a one-night B&B stay in Scario because of circumstances beyond our control, and at first we were a little disappointed. After staying at Kalimaka, though, we're glad we did. The manager, D'Angelo Rosario, was courteous and attentive without getting in anyone's way.

We only got to spend a few hours there, which was a shame. Mr. Rosario was a warm host, discreet but attentive, with old-fashioned manners. The breakfast room looks out over the sea like a painting, and Scario felt like an oasis of peace. Mr. Rosario, thank you for your hospitality. Licia
