Hotel Valle Rossa

The staff made this place for me. They were welcoming, kind, and helpful, especially the young chap at the concierge and the lovely gentleman serving meals. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner at prices like the other hotels and restaurants. For a visit to Padre Pio, the location works really well. It's between the Church and the city centre, each about a 10-minute walk away, with restaurants and stores in the centre. The bus stop for Foggia is only a 3-minute walk away, which is a big plus if you don't have a car.

There's plenty to choose from at breakfast, and it was good. The hotel is nice, and the staff are friendly, kind, and have a great attitude.

The rooms were always clean, and the towels got replaced. The beds were somewhere between bad and good. Shutters on the windows were handy for sleeping late, but sound carried through the walls. I could hear other guests, and I'm pretty sure they heard me too, since they laughed at jokes my dad ignored. The a/c seemed to be controlled by the hotel or switched automatically when we left the "electricity jack" in the wall. They use a 6.3mm jack for electricity instead of a card. We couldn't change TV channels until I found that opening the subtitle menu made it work. The fridge barely got cooler than the room, so it didn't keep our food properly cold. The hotel wasn't bad, but it could be better.

The bed was comfortable and the restroom was clean. Breakfast was basic, with only a little variety. The air conditioning shuts off automatically whenever you open a door or window. The hotel isn't within walking distance of anything, and it's a bit far from the church.
