Strawberry House

The location is excellent, with the Vatican a short walk away and an OMNI bus stop just beyond the front steps. We also felt secure, thanks to the several doors that are locked at certain hours. You're given keys, of course. The owners were thoughtful and kind, and the rooms were comfortable. We could adjust our own A/C and had a private bathroom of moderate size. The kitchen has pots, pans, and a refrigerator. There was packaged toast and strawberry jam on the table, plus two bottles of water in the fridge, one for each guest in our room. The owner also asked what kind of croissant we'd like for breakfast. Parking takes a little attention: blue spaces are paid unless it's Sunday, while white spaces farther up the street are free. There's also a restaurant downstairs at the corner whose name I can't remember. Plenty of other delicious restaurants are nearby.
