We had a lovely short break here as a family, two adults and two kids. The country house is large and very nice, and Luca has restored it with real care. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and we could walk to a big supermarket. The centre was just a few minutes away by car. What made the stay feel personal was Luca’s help. Our UK to Europe AC adapter didn’t fit the Italian three pin system, so he lent us mobile charges and adapters. He also happily made boiled eggs for the kids at breakfast. I’ve stayed in big hotels where nobody seems to care or help, so this stood out. We enjoyed every minute and hope to come back. All the best to him with his new business.

Fresh croissants were part of the breakfast, along with other things, and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are big and comfortable too. It’s a charming spot tucked into a beautiful park, and the manager is such a kind, thoughtful person. I’ll definitely come back. It’s wonderful meeting people like that.

It’s a pleasure to chat with Mr. Luca, who’s genuinely friendly, polite, and always helpful. He gave us great advice for our trip. The B&B has a lot of history and isn’t his property, but he keeps it going and handles everything, from reception and the rooms to breakfast, maintenance, and the large garden.
