Villa Alta

The Tuscan feel here is warm and peaceful, with gorgeous views and so much rustic charm. Monica, Raffella, and Elena have been wonderful to work with, arranging meetings with possible vendors and guiding us through the wedding planning. Their support has played a big part in bringing our vision to life. The villa is beautiful, and the staff are welcoming and hospitable from the moment you arrive. Highly recommend!

Villa Alta gave us the most magical wedding we could have hoped for. We were married there in May 2024, and our guests still talk about how special the weekend felt. Some are already suggesting a return for our 10-year anniversary. The venue is breathtaking, with panoramic views, peaceful surroundings, elegant rooms, and plenty of room for guests to relax and celebrate. It feels romantic, authentic, and unforgettable. Planning from the UK could have been stressful, but Monica and Raffaella, the sisters who run the villa, made it smooth, enjoyable, and even fun. They were warm, responsive, and attentive to every detail, with invaluable advice and local knowledge. Their support made us feel in safe hands. We first knew it was special from a video tour, then visited for a weekend before returning for the wedding, and it felt like coming home. If you want a beautiful Italian setting, caring hosts, and an easy planning process, Villa Alta is an easy recommendation. Thank you, Monica and Raffaella, for memories we’ll keep for a lifetime.

The pool and Jacuzzi made the old villa feel like a spa, and the views were lovely. We spent five nights here at the end of our holiday to unwind. We had lunches at the villa and usually ate dinner at the local village restaurant, which we loved. It’s closed on Wednesdays, so we took a bus into Pisa that evening and arranged for Villa staff to collect us later. We didn’t have a car, but paid transfers from the railway stations, Pisa, and the airport were a great option. There’s a train station and buses nearby, though the trains mostly run in the morning and early afternoon. We made a quick trip to Lucca, about 10 minutes each way. For both buses and trains, tickets need to be bought in advance through an app. Everyone at Villa Alta was wonderful. A big thank you to Florjan, Rafaella, and Monica for making our stay special.

The food was simply wonderful when Sandra cooked, and Mr.Florian’s confidence and kindness made it easy to relax and enjoy this little slice of heaven. The photos are beautiful, but seeing Alta Villa’s buildings and the bumpy, rustic road in person really let my imagination grasp the villa’s grandeur over the centuries.
