The main issue for me was staying connected. There was no Wi-Fi or internet, and no phone reception, so you couldn't call or text if there was a problem or emergency. They didn't have a cordless card terminal either, so payment was cash only. I think the internet situation really needs attention. The farmhouse sits 800 meters above sea level, about 20 minutes from Citta di Castello. It has rustic-style rooms and apartments, and is run by a kind woman who personally cooks delicious dinners and breakfasts. Getting there is difficult, though: the last stretch is an unpaved road, in poor and dangerous condition, and unlit at night.

Monia and Leo made us feel at home right away in this recently renovated, welcoming farmhouse. Dinner was delicious, especially the homemade ravioli and spectacular acqua cotta. The homemade desserts were lovely too. Congratulations, keep it up. We'll be back.

The prices are excellent for the value, and the home cooking is excellent too. We were welcomed by very friendly, kind people, and the silence was lovely. A relaxing place. Visit Città di Castello, La Verna, and the other nearby places.
