Free parking was a real plus, especially since parking in central Bologna is paid. The apartment is in a very quiet area in the province of Bologna, but the city center is still fairly close and easy to reach by car. I drove, so I can't say much about public transport, though there's a bus stop just a few metres away. The place is spacious, spotless, and well kept, with heating and air conditioning. It works well for a family and has the comforts needed for a pleasant stay. The kitchen has everything for cooking apart from the ingredients, and the owner left a few things for a self-service breakfast, including coffee capsules.

There are shops, bars, a pharmacy, and a bank nearby, along with bus stops for getting to central Bologna. During my stay, the host was easy to reach and helpful whenever I needed anything. The apartment was comfortable and neatly arranged, with lovely furnishings and very clean rooms. I also had everything I needed for breakfast throughout my stay.

It's a roomy, comfortable apartment in a residential neighborhood, handy as a base for driving to different parts of Bologna. Finding a parking spot in the evening can be difficult.

The owners were so kind and put together a generous breakfast with snacks, toast, jam, tea, and coffee. The apartment itself was warm, spacious, clean, and welcoming, with everything needed for a stay. We'd happily come back. Highly recommended, and thank you!

Suite dei Gelsi is lovely and welcoming, set in a quiet area with little traffic, yet very close to central Bologna. The owners are kind and helpful. A well-earned five stars, and I'd recommend staying here if you're in the Bologna area.
