The house and landscape were beautiful, and there was so much to see and do. We still could’ve happily spent a few more days just by the pool. We stayed nearly a week at Casa Giogano and wished we’d booked another one. It felt ideally placed, about an hour from the beach and an hour from Tuscany. Loved every minute of our Italian holiday.

We loved being able to visit San Marino nearby, and we hiked to San Leo, which was wonderful, then walked part of the St Francis way, an old pilgrimage route. The casa was spotless and seemed recently refreshed, with a comfortable bed and amazing breakfasts. A beautiful, peaceful corner of Emilia-Romagna, a lovely escape from the city bustle.

Getting there from Pieve Corena means taking some pretty rough roads, but the trip is worth it for this quiet spot. The recently restored casa is lovely and authentic, with a pretty view over the hills. We got a friendly welcome and helpful tourist information, and our room was clean and nice. In Pieve Corena, Confine e Tradizione has a chef who makes the best pasta and pizza.

We were a group of friends staying for three nights for the Rimini Wellness event, and the house was AMAZING. It had everything we needed, and I’m sure we’ll use it again. There’s a grill, pool, air conditioning, hot tub, kitchen and plenty more. It sleeps up to 12 in single or double beds, with private parking for three cars. Getting to the driveway means crossing a dirt road, which can be tricky in a very low car. Rimini is about an hour away, so it wasn’t especially convenient for us, but the San Marino area is close by. There’s also a small discount store nearby for basic supplies.
