I stayed here with my mum and my dog, and the room was perfect, with a very exclusive feel. It’s such a peaceful, beautiful place, with stunning gardens beside the buildings. The ladies working here were friendly and keen to help. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including boiled eggs, pastries, granola, and more. We also joined a wine tasting tour that was fun and taught us a lot about the estate and its history. The wines were fantastic, with something for everyone. I’ll definitely come back.

The vineyards make a great setting for this Wine Palace. The wines are fantastic, from traditional Barbera to sparkling wines and Grignolino. The winemakers and sommeliers running things are very professional. They also put on events and wine dinners.

We booked at the last minute for a night away, and for the most part it was a pleasant surprise. The grounds feel like a little medieval village, with beautiful buildings and stone paths and driveways. It’s a romantic spot. Our bed was comfortable, and the pillows were very soft. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was light, with bread, croissants, jam, juice, including blueberry, fruit, coffee, cappuccino, boiled eggs, and thinly sliced salami and turkey. A few things bothered us. Checkout at 10:30 a.m. felt too early, and breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. did too. We killed four large black flying bugs in the room, maybe beetles. Light sleepers may want to close the closet and bathroom doors: during the night we kept waking to a hissing, slightly ringing sound from the steam heater near the bathroom and closet. The shower also had low water pressure.

A lovely place to stay and enjoy a wine tasting. The rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. Breakfast was simple but surprisingly good, with only the best ingredients.
