Hotel Colbricon

We stayed in summer, and a short walk took us to a wonderful viewpoint over the valley and peaks. The hotel is in a strategic spot close to the center and facilities, and starting or ending the day with a room facing the Pale is hard to beat. Everything was tidy and clean, the staff were kind and attentive to details, and the spa was good quality. The cooking deserves special praise: well-prepared, nicely presented dishes, including soups, a fish burger, and desserts. The list goes on. Dinner is included for a modest supplement to the room rate, and it’s high quality. We’re looking forward to coming back.

We had a perfect stay in that lovely hotel back in 2013, on our honeymoon road trip in an old Renault Siete. The owner was so friendly. We’ll be back soon!

We’d already booked again for next year after a wonderful week of skiing here. Before we arrived, communication was excellent, and check-in was seamless. Our first-floor room had a balcony and an en-suite shower. Half board meant a hearty breakfast and a choice of four dinner courses. The family running the hotel were attentive and helpful, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Covid protocols were followed strictly. We also got preferential rates at the local ski hire centre, and the hotel arranged a day of rambling on the mountain. After long days skiing, the spa was a welcome place to unwind, with a large hot tub, steam rooms, saunas, and massages available.

Izabela and the team looked after us so well, and the service was incredible. I slept better here than I ever have in a hotel, thanks to the comfortable rooms. The spa was a big hit too, and the location was perfect for getting to the ski area and some very good restaurants. We had the best stay in this beautiful hotel and will be back. Grazie mille!
