Chalet Vanzi

The host made us feel very welcome and was helpful throughout our ski holiday at Chalet Vanzi. The flat was cozy and just right for four people. We loved the fresh bread delivered every morning, and being right next to the slope made everything easy.

The accommodation was clean, tidy, and modern, with access to facilities on site. It sits in a lovely, quiet location with great views. A good base for the area, with road connections, ski lifts, and excellent cycling routes all accessible.

The rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished, with more storage than you usually get elsewhere. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there was an outdoor sauna to use. We stayed at Chalet Vanzi during the early December pre-season promotions. We have nothing but praise for the accommodation and host. When the Piculin slope and cable car are operating, the slopes are only a 50m walk away. Bear in mind it's a black run, so definitely not for beginners. Otherwise, you'll need to drive to St Vigilio to get to the Kronplatz ski area.

We spent three nights here as a base for the Maratona ride. It was easy to reach, and the drive to La Villa, where the ride starts, was easy too. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a good bathroom.
