Everything else was perfect: a beautiful setting, clean apartment, and very friendly contact. A folder in the apartment with useful details, like where to shop and ski bus times and stops, would have been helpful. That's my only small criticism.
The landlady was very accommodating, and the apartment was in a great location and spotlessly clean. When we asked for bigger cups for tea, she immediately brought some from her own collection. She also washed some of our son's clothes since there was no washing machine. Thanks so much, we highly recommend this vacation apartment!
We stayed over New Year's 2012/2013 with eight people and two dogs, using the two ground-floor apartments. That worked really well, since the garden opened straight onto a small wooded area. The apartments had everything needed for a holiday and were well equipped. Being by the woods made the spot pleasantly quiet, though Campill is quiet anyway. The one winter drawback is that the sun only reaches this part of the valley for maybe two or three hours.
A great apartment in a good spot for walks, and a good fit for four people. The sofa bed is quite uncomfortable, though, so it's less suitable if you're bringing more people.
I won't be coming back. The experience was awful. The lady was happy to charge 10 euros a day for the dog and a 35 euros final cleaning fee, always because of the dog. I was careful about the dog's needs, but then she said the dog wasn't allowed to pee on the lawn. If she doesn't like dogs, she should say dogs aren't accepted instead of taking extra money. There wasn't even a broom or mop to wash the floors, just a brush. The lady should also consider replacing the slightly old bed linen. She was nice with her words, and took the money upfront for two apartments too.
