We didn't stay at the hotel, so this is just about the restaurant. It was the best dinner we had on our Dolomites holiday. There were three of us, and we each ordered different antipasto, main courses, and desserts. Every dish stood out, even the salad.

The owners' enthusiasm and thoughtful care really show in how well the hotel facilities are maintained. The scenery was impeccable, too. A priceless experience overall. I highly recommend trying the dinner course with its traditional dishes.

Philipp, the hotel owner, helped us find a local repair shop after we discovered a flat tyre as we were leaving. It was a public holiday, so that was a difficult task. We had stopped for lunch and found a beautiful restaurant, where the staff were all friendly and helpful despite the language barrier, since we only speak English. The meals were perfect and fairly priced for the quality. We highly recommend visiting the hotel and restaurant. The staff will look after you well.

If you love walking, hiking, or cycling in spring and summer, Ostaria Posta is a great place to stay. The family who owns and runs it are charming and clearly proud of the service and facilities they provide. The hotel is understated, with simple but refined furnishings, and the rooms are well designed and spotless. The food is exquisite and made from local produce. I first stayed here when a friend booked it for us to ride the Maratona in July 2022 and 2023. I've stayed twice now, with a third trip planned for next year (2025), and Ostaria Posta has become my perfect base when travelling in northern Italy. I'd say the hotel, facilities, food, and location are absolutely terrible just to stop people going, but that would be a lie. It's absolutely not rubbish.
